Making Aryl Boronate Ester without Using Transition Metal

Transition-Metal-Free Synthesis of an Aryl Boronate Ester through Base-Mediated Boryl Substitution of an Aryl Halide with a Silylborane

The silylborane 1a was prepared by the method reported by Noth et al.[9] and 1b and 1c were obtained by ligand exchange reaction of 1a by Buynak and Geng [10].
